Hi Fellow Yogis:

Recently, we have been working on strengthening the core with postures such as plank, headstand and boat pose. We’ve then balanced the strength work with length work: Stretching the side body with peaceful warrior and lengthening the abs with such poses as up dog and open twists.

Strenghtening and lengthening the core is a core intention. Because the core – the body center – is truly at the core of any physical movement.
