Intro to Jess and Kathy

Hi Boot Campers and Yogis -As you know we start the summer session 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, for boot camps and 6 a.m., June 19, for yoga. Very exciting. If you haven’t yet registered, please do so at your earliest convenience so we minimize paperwork during the actual class!

As you also know, we will have some awesome subs this summer. Jess for yoga and Kathy for boot camp. Here is some info on these two amazing instructors:

Jessica Woodburn is a Yoga Instructor as Results Gym and a certified Personal Fitness Trainer.  She’s been practicing yoga for over 20 years and is passionate about helping people increase core strength, range of motion, mobility, and  flexibility and thus improve activities of daily living She loves the Mind, Body, Spirit aspects of yoga because of their transformational nature and ability to help find both outer and inner strength and peace.

Summer boot camp and yoga

Hi Fellow Boot Campers and Yogis:

Summer boot camp and yoga start next week: 6 to 6:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for boot camp and 6 to 6:45 a.m. Wednesdays for yoga.

You can do one or both – just pick the package that fits you. The session runs through the entire summer until Aug. 29, with a one-week break for the week of July 1.

The first yoga session (June 19) will be led by Jessica Woodburn (will post a short bio soon) who often subs for me at Results. The yoga sessions will be modeled after the Rev Yoga class I teach at Results – it’s an upper-body strengthening and lower-body lengthening class with meditation and breathing techniques.

Running coach extraordinaire Kathy Pugh will be a stand-in sub for boot camp if needed.

Please let me know if you have any questions and looking forward to seeing you under the tree tops!

Boot Camp and weather policy

Hi All:

Is boot camp ever canceled? Answer is – yes, but only if there is immediate danger: torrential rain, gale-force winds, hail storm, lightning or temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Other than that, we meet up for boot camp – rain or shine. On that note, see you tomorrow in the bright and early.
